Where Is the Common Ground on AI? / Ep. 478

Bella In Your Business Podcast Cover

AI pros and cons for pet business owners come down to one question: which part of AI are you actually objecting to or defending? In Episode 478 of Bella In Your Business, Bella Vasta breaks the “I won’t support a business that uses AI” argument into its real parts, generative AI versus agentic AI, real questions about data center water and electricity use, a 2024 Science Advances study on AI and creativity, and a Microsoft Research survey on AI and critical thinking. Pet sitters, dog walkers, and pet care business owners get a framework for making an informed decision instead of picking a side. Bella Vasta is the host of Bella In Your Business and founder of Jump Consulting at jumpconsulting.net.

Somebody posted a list of reasons they were done with AI. Top of the list: “I won’t support a business that uses AI.” Bella Vasta’s first question back was simple: so you’re cancelling Netflix and Amazon too? If you’re a pet sitter, dog walker, or pet care business owner who feels stuck between the AI evangelists and the AI refusers in your own Facebook groups, this episode is for you. By the end, you’ll have a way to make an informed decision instead of picking a jersey.

What You’ll Learn in This Episode

  • How to separate objections to generative AI from objections to agentic AI so your position is actually precise
  • What the International Energy Agency and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory data actually say about data center electricity and water use
  • What a 2024 Science Advances creativity study found, and what it did not prove
  • How to test your own critical thinking before you trust an AI answer, using a Microsoft Research survey of knowledge workers
  • The accurate Blockbuster and BlackBerry stories, pulled from their own SEC filings, not the internet legend version

Why AI Pros and Cons Matter for Pet Business Owners Right Now

Pet sitters and dog walkers are often slower to adopt new technology, and Bella has watched that pattern since 2008. AI is the biggest technology shift she has seen in her career, and the arguments around it have gotten polarized fast. This episode gives pet business owners a way to hold a real, informed opinion instead of defaulting to a side because everyone else picked one.

Why the AI Water and Electricity Debate Isn’t as Simple as One Number

Bella starts with the objection she thinks gets waved off too fast: the environmental cost. The International Energy Agency reports that data centers used about 415 terawatt-hours of electricity worldwide in 2024, and projects that will more than double to around 945 terawatt-hours by 2030. That figure covers every kind of data center, with AI as one piece of it. Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory has studied data center water use and found the answer swings widely depending on the equipment, the cooling method, where the electricity comes from, and where the building sits. Bella’s point for pet business owners: don’t let “the number is complicated” turn into “there’s no problem.” A data center can matter to the families living near it even when its share of global water use sounds small. You can use AI to run your business every day and still ask who pays for the power and water it takes.

What the 2024 Creativity Study Actually Found (And What It Didn’t)

Bella cites a real study: researchers Doshi and Hauser published findings in Science Advances in 2024 after having people write short stories, some with AI-generated story ideas and some without. Readers rated the AI-assisted stories as more creative on average, with the biggest lift going to writers who scored lower on a creativity measure going in. But the same study found the AI-assisted stories came out more similar to each other. Bella’s takeaway for pet business owners: one person getting help finding their own voice is different from everyone grabbing the same AI help the same way and starting to sound alike. Both findings are true at the same time, and that tension is the whole argument in one study.

How to Test Your Own Critical Thinking Before You Trust an AI Answer

Bella references a Microsoft Research survey of 319 knowledge workers: the more confidence a person had in the AI, the less critical thinking effort they reported using, and the more confidence they had in themselves, the more effort they reported. She’s clear this is a survey of self-reported behavior, not proof AI damages anyone’s thinking, but she still treats it as a warning tied to what she calls AI Echo Chamber Syndrome, the tendency of AI to agree with you. Her test: do you know the subject well enough to catch AI when it’s wrong, and could you explain your decision to another person without saying “well, AI said so”? Her own admission: if she uses AI to move faster and stops using her own judgment, she hasn’t become a stronger business owner, she’s become someone who can make a mistake at scale.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the middle ground between loving AI and refusing to use it?

The middle ground Bella Vasta describes is a set of standards you hold yourself to rather than a side you pick. That means asking what a tool costs, including costs you don’t personally see, telling people when something is synthetic, protecting customer and employee information, keeping a human accountable for decisions about people, and measuring whether the work actually got better with your own judgment still in the process.

What is the difference between generative AI and agentic AI?

Generative AI is the kind that writes paragraphs or makes pictures. Agentic AI goes out and takes action on your behalf, like navigating a website or completing a multi-step task. Bella argues that when someone says “I won’t support a business that uses AI,” they usually mean generative AI specifically, and naming that distinction makes the opinion far more useful.

How do I know if AI is hurting my critical thinking?

Bella’s test, drawn from a Microsoft Research survey of knowledge workers: ask whether you know a subject well enough to catch AI when it’s wrong, and whether you could explain your decision to another person without saying “AI said so.” She also warns against taking the first thing AI gives you without pushing back on it.

Do data centers really use a dangerous amount of water and electricity?

The International Energy Agency reports data centers used about 415 terawatt-hours of electricity worldwide in 2024 and projects that will more than double to around 945 terawatt-hours by 2030. That figure covers every kind of data center, with AI as one piece of it. Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory has found data center water use varies widely by equipment, cooling method, and location, so a single tidy number for water per AI query should be treated with caution.

Should my pet care business use AI for things like training and scheduling?

Bella walks through a made-up example of two pet care companies in the same town: one dismisses AI after a bad flyer, the other quietly uses it to build training guides, sort scheduling headaches, and flag unusual timesheet entries for a human to review, never to replace human judgment. She’s clear that flagged issues go to a person, not an automatic decision.

Full Episode Transcript

Where is the middle ground on AI? This is what I’ve been kind of asking myself as I keep seeing just such a polarity online of people either loving it or hating it. And it seems as though I don’t know if it’s the geopolitical climate or what, but it seems as though two things can’t be true. Today, lots of things are gonna be true at the same time on this episode. In the past three episodes, I spent kind of talking to you about agents. today at my recording, it’s Tuesday, September 29th at 9 a.m. And today OpenAI is making a massive announcement. I believe I saw, correct me if I’m wrong, they’re dropping 21 things today. I believe that one of them might be a personal agent. So we’ll see, because by the time this comes out, it’ll be 48 hours later. And it’s it’s getting really interesting out there. I wanna preview this whole episode by saying that this isn’t a matter of AI is right or AI is wrong. AI is here. And not using AI, be very, very clear about this. Not using AI as a business owner is going to be like not using a cell phone, a car, or a computer. I also want to preface this episode that many things can be true at the same time. Even I have conflicting views and opinions on things, but just as a preliminary Note to this episode, I’ve decided that I’m gonna be light. I’ve decided that AI is here, and there’s a lot of people that are gonna need a perception switch for it. And there’s a lot of unempowered people that be can become very empowered with AI. For those of you who know me or coach with me, you know that I’m currently involved in a pilot project with the Boys and Girls Club. teaching AI literacy to children. And I also am working with an organization, it’s an international organization called Homeless Entrepreneurs that helps entrepreneurs who have fallen out on hard times, ended up like living in their car or homeless. And and they help them, and I’m hate helping them with AI literacy as well. That’s what I feel like my purpose is on this earth. My purpose is not here to convince anybody that they need to use AI or that they’re wrong or they’re right or anything like that. My goal.

It is to only be a strainer. It’s to take all this overwhelming information about AI, not just how to use it, but the impact on the environment, the geopolitic politics of it, right? The ever-ending updates that we’re getting, all of this information that makes a lot of people just shut down and stop listening, it’s my job to kind of filter that through and say this is exactly how you can use it for your business. And I’m really proud to say that. I’ve been really good at this because the fruits of my labor are so many of my amazing clients that I get to brag on. most recently, I’ve been getting a lot of press, and last week I was in the Phoenix Business Journal talking about how I’m leveraging AI. And I was able to bring in one of my mastermind members and marketing with bellow clients, Becky Lea of Paws Around Motown. And she got about half the article in a great picture and just really descriptive on how she’s using. Agents. And she’s only one of many of the people in my community that are using it. Last week I had a call with someone who said, my gosh, three weeks ago I was so terrified of agents. And now I feel like I’m starting to be the most creative I’ve ever been. Yeah, that’s actually what happens. So that’s my prelim to this episode. if you can already tell just a couple minutes in, it’s gonna have a lot of heart. But I really want to get into this, and of course. It’s no joke if you watch this online or you’re watching any of these things. I do, I script it because if I don’t script it, I will just sit there and ramble to you guys for an hour. So I’m not trying to hide it. I do script these. These are all my thoughts. This is me talking and molding it, and so that I can present it to you in a nice package that doesn’t take you forever to digest. So true story. I’ve been very active in a couple of other industry groups, not in the pet world, but in other industries, because I’m I’m really helping other companies. The one thing that I start seeing a lot is that, you know, I’ve always kind of heard and known that like the pet industry is always behind in technology, not even pet industry. Let me say pet sitters and dog walkers are always behind in adopting things.

This started for me way back in 2008 when I was creating videos telling you, go live on Facebook and get a Facebook page, and here’s why. I distinctly remember exactly where I was when I was doing that. Like became a core memory of mine. And yet again, here we are. Another the biggest technology advancement that we’ve ever had in the entire our lifetimes in the world. Faster than anything, right? It’s like this this car that’s taken off that everyone’s trying to figure out how to drive and not crash it. And there’s a lot of really strong opinions. And this episode is dedicated to talking about those opinions because there’s gotta be some middle ground. And some of these objections are absolutely asinine. Is it okay for me to say that? So someone posted a list of reasons why they were done with AI, and the top of the list was, I won’t support a business that uses AI. Okay, I thought. So like you what, you’re gonna cancel your Netflix, stop shopping on Amazon? Like The thing that picks your next show and the next thing for your purchase, both of those are on AI. A recommendation system is a different animal than the tool that writes paragraphs or makes a picture. The second kind has a name, it’s generative AI, so it generates something, right? So we have generative AI where we generate paragraphs or pictures. And then we have agentic AI, where it goes out and does things for us. So if generative AI Is what bothers you. Then say that. You just made i your opinion more precise with that, and that’s what this whole episode is about. The same list that said AI is making critical thinking and creativity disappear. And then one of you have probably muttered while scrolling, It looks really, really bad. I mean like I have too all the time. And I wish I could literally just copy and like like call people out, but that would be mean and I wouldn’t like it if someone did that to me. But you know I it some AI does look bad. I mean, I’ve seen the plastic-looking flyers that tell me nothing about the business. I’ve gotten the message that sounds personal until you realize the sender has no idea who you are. Right? Like it’s it’s just it’s it’s slop, it’s crazy. And some of the concerns are a lot bigger than a bad flyer. Okay, like they really impact our lives.

things like data centers that need electricity. Some of them use water for cooling. The families live next door to one have every right to ask what it will call their community or cost their community. And so I’m not, again, I’m not trying to say anyone’s right or wrong here, but let’s really look at the argument. And if we have objections, let’s specify what those objections are. Because when you just say, I hate AI, you look uneducated. Ooh. That’s gonna oof. So I won’t support a business that uses AI is a much bigger sentence than it sounds. So what part do you mean? Is it the ones that post an AI picture and it passes off as a photograph like a photograph? Maybe it’s the company that hands a complaint to a bot and hides every human from you. Girl, I object to those too. There’s nothing more annoying. That’s what’s given chatbots like a bad name, which is essentially AI. Like a person made those choices. Someone in charge decided it was good enough to send out the door. Now, my fellow AI lovers, it’s our turn. And when we say it saves time, whose time are we counting? When we say it makes us creative, do we bring a point of view or do we publish the first thing that it handed to us? Don’t ever take the first thing that AI gives you. And I’ve I’ve told you this before. And now I’m also talking about. just regular chatting AI. I’m not talking about this as if this is like your agent, all right, which is a little bit different. And if my business gets the benefit while a town somewhere gets the bill for the data center, I still want to know about that bill. Like I’m not like, haha, you get to put the bill and the environmental part to it. I don’t think there are only two teams here. Even though we’re in September 2026, the midterm elections are coming. And the entire world wants us to be divided, and it’s a yes or no, it’s a blue or a red. There’s no ability to have purple anywhere. Okay. And I think we got way too busy picking out what color and forgot to ask: what does responsible look like to us? So the the concern’s real when it comes to water. Let’s break this down. So I’m gonna give you the facts. This is another reason why I have this scripted. The International Energy Agency protects that electricity use.

By data centers worldwide will roughly double between 2025 and 2030. That number covers data centers as a whole, and AI is just one piece of it. But then there’s water. Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory studied how much water data centers work use. The answer swings widely, depending on the equipment, the cooling, where the electricity comes from, and where the building sits. So somebody hands you one tidy number for how much w water a single AI question uses, be careful with that number. It changes. There’s too many things. The one st study that I see cited all the time was actually based off of chat 3.5 in like 2023 or four, I think, if I remember correctly. It’s like so outdated already that it doesn’t even make sense. So please don’t hear the number is complicated, translates to there’s no problem, because that’s not what I’m saying. A data center can matter a whole lot to families living near it, even when the share of global water sounds tidy, tiny. I sit in Arizona. We literally are going to run out of water in like five or 10 years, they’re saying to us. We have a water crisis right now. Not only that, but we are a tiny silicone valley that is like. They’re calling it the tech valley. That’s like everyone’s moving out of California and they’re coming here and there’s so much tech boom here. We’ve got the chip plants, we’ve got a lot of chip microchip plants. not microchip, the the AI chips. We got a lot going on here. And so, like data centers being built here, So like. My community is affected by this too, as I say this. Okay. I want all of us asking who gets the benefit and who pays for the power in water. I want us to know what happens when the area is already stretched thin or we’re running out of water. And I want to know what we demand from a company before we call it responsible. Like what are they already doing? Just to have an opinion and say, it uses too much water. Well, do we know how they’re circumventing that?

I use AI to run my business every single day, and I don’t get to wave those questions away. And if you care about the environment, you don’t have to pretend the tool helps nobody. You can care about both. I give you permission. All right? I’ve also seen the post, and so have you, some shiny wording, some strange hands, and you can almost feel the moment someone stopped thinking and published it. There’s a study I want you to know about. Two researchers, Doshi and Hauser, Published it in Science Advances in 2024. They had people write short stories. Some of the writers got story ideas from AI, and some got no help at all. Readers rated the AI assisted stories as more creative on average. The biggest lift went to the writers who had scored lower on a creativity measure going in. Same study, second finding. Okay? The AI-assisted stories came out more similar to each other. You guys, this is the entire argument sitting in one study. One person gets help saying, saying what they meant. And then everybody grabs the same help the same way. And so we all start sounding alike. Both findings are true at the same time. If you’ve ever hired, you probably have gotten a lot of hiring ads or hiring applications. This has happened to me. I know it’s happened to you. Where they all start sounding the same. They have like the same cadence to them. And you might end up with two or three different versions or four different versions, because one is ChatGPT, one is Claude, one is Grok, and one is Gemini, depending on what they’re using. And they all follow the same rhythm. Okay? So check yourself before you post. Did you give it your stories, your observations, your customers’ real questions? Would you recognize your own voice if I peeled your logo off the results? We’ve done many shows about this. And this is where, like, when you get into agents and they really, really know you, and now you’re not just doing a one off prompt or thinking that they remember you from a project. Guys, I’m gonna make you an offer right now. This is totally off the cuff off script. If you think that you can do really good with AI, I want you to send me one of your pictures or your writing, and I will critique it and I will give you pointers on how to make it better.

I open up my inbox to anyone right now who wants it. Bella at jumpconsulting.net. I I can sniff this stuff out from a mile away. So show it to me and I’ll show you where your blind spots are. Cause I want us all to rise together. I work with business owners every single week. And some of them do wildly imaginative things with these tools. Some of them crank out hundreds of things they never needed to make. And then they’re gone like for those 20 hours. They spent more time wasting it. And the difference shows up in the thinking before you ask the judgment after it arrives. Does that make sense? Let me say that again because it’s really important. The difference shows up in thinking before you ask it. It’s your strategy. And after it answers. Okay, so Microsoft Research surveyed 319 knowledge workers about how they use generative AI. The more confidence a person had in AI, the less critical thinking effort they reported. The more confidence they had in themselves, the more the effort they reported. Now, that is a survey of what people said they do. Nobody proved the technology permanently damaged anyone’s mind, but I still hear it as a warning. AI is trained to agree with you. Also have an episode on that. And I can it’s like it, it’s it’s the echo the echo chamber syndrome. Look, go look it up. I have an entire episode on it. And the answer shows up fast. It sounds great. It’s sure of itself. It tells you how smart you are. When was the last time Chat GBT didn’t agree with you? When was the last time you said show me my blind spots? So test yourself. Do you know the subject well enough to catch it when it’s wrong? Could you explain your decision to another human being without saying, well, AI said so? I’m not gonna, I’m gonna challenge myself here too, because I use AI to move faster and I quit using my own judgment. I did not become a strong business owner. I became someone who can make a mistake at scale. AI is a draft, AI can’t decide. And for those of you who have built agents, I’m gonna blow your mind right now. Because it’s not just me and my agent, Nova, who is on Claude.

Or me and my agent Stella, who is on Codex. But it’s the three of us. Because I will have a big project like this week. We’re launching how to do your social media with your AI agent. Last last month we learned how to build your AI agent, and they’re already going off and doing so many things and just blowing their minds because they had no idea how easy it was. They just needed someone to show them. So this month we’re gonna show them how to do do social media. And I am not talking about that slop. I am not talking about flyers. I am not talking about words that sound like AI. I am talking about full-blown video editing and and calendar scheduling and all of it. It’s gonna be amazing. But I digress. This is why I have a script. But what I did and what I what I do often is I will I will knowledge dump into Nova and she’ll come up with an amazing thing. And then I’ll I’ll work her. I have my own little strategy that I do. I teach it in the mastermind. So Nova comes up with her like polished version. I’ll be like, that’s great. Stella poke holes in it. Codex, come over here and talk to talk to Claude. Let’s go at it. And you watch them talk, and it’s like, okay, well, I conceded this point, and you know, Claude was better on this, or you know, Nova was better on this one. Stella had a point here. we disproved this one and we created this other one together. Now I got three brains. Three brains that know me, my business, my my my people. Like, I mean, they read my emails. It’s literally like an employee in my office. It’s in insane. All right, back to the script. Psychologists have a name for the discomfort you feel when your beliefs and behaviors bump into each other. This one’s really, really important. This is something that I really needed to talk about. And I don’t think enough people talk about this. Truth be told, I learned about this. This is literally personal. Yeah, I’m gonna say it. I learned about this when I got my divorce. Someone taught me about cognitive dissonance. And it was like, yeah, two things can be right at the same time. Like that’s okay, right? And that’s what it’s called cognitive dissonance. It’s holding two true things is allowed at once. Flattening one side just to make the discomfort stop is where the thinking dies. Okay, so you can hate what AI is doing to a certain kind of art and love what it’s doing for your calendar.

Plenty of owners refuse to let the bot talk to their customers, and it’s still a better way to train their staff. Stay in that conversation longer than 30 seconds before someone declares a side. And we have all these keyboard warriors everywhere that are just like off with their head. AI’s terrible. I’m not using any company that uses AI. It’s ridiculous. Okay? So two pet care companies could be in the same town. And I’m making this up as an example example so nobody Email me asking which company it is, but this is also going to be true. Owner number one thinks that AI is a flyer machine. The flyers come out generic, clients can tell, she decides the whole thing is a waste of time. Owner number two uses it quietly behind the scenes. She talks through how she wants a new team member to care for her dog on a hot day. She adds this the stuff new hires keep getting confused about. She finds the patterns. She she wants The client’s updated and she wants to do when and what to do when something feels off from a visit. Okay. So AI turns all those problems that she has in her head into a draft training guide. And then she checks it and changes every part that needs her judgment. She practices the hard client conversations with it. She has a she has it sort out her recurring schedule headaches and flag old timesheet entries. For a person to review. Okay, let’s say the timesheet entries were wrong, the AI isn’t then firing the person. It’s alerting a human so that the human can make those decisions. I want to be very clear about that. Like a flag timesheet is a question you go and ask a c a human being kindly. Software can get it wrong. Your employees do deserve a fair process and a real conversation. If a tool turns an owner into somebody who treats her team like suspects, I want nothing to do with it. So again, it’s the human that’s using the tool that matters. So this person, her training gets clearer, her new hires know what to look like. Her managers quit asking the same questions 40 times, which opens up her brain, because now she’s not looping and getting interrupted, right? That whole thing could keep people a lot longer, and she’d have she’d have to watch.

What happens to know? It’s still far more interesting use of AI than of flyer. So you got one person that was like, I don’t like flyers. You got this other person that kept massaging it, that kept rolling out the dough, as I say, that kept seeing how it could help her processes while staying involved in it, which led to even a better culture and and a stronger team that she doesn’t have to keep solving a hiring problem like this person might have to. All right? This this is. This is where that purple gray area is. All right? So let’s say that business owner number two, she gets a few hours back every week. So she spends some of that time checking in with clients and some of it her own dinner table. So now her relationships at home are thriving. Her reach outs her clients because she has the bandwidth to do it. Her clients, she’s getting clients for life instead of just ignoring them because she was buried by everything else. Now let’s say she’s your direct competitor. And you’re rewriting the same onboarding document for the fifth time. Your opinion of AI doesn’t make that gap go away. You’re allowed to say, I don’t want this tool in my business. But make it an informed no. Know what you’re declining and know how you plan to solve that problem in another way. A bad AI flyer tells you almost nothing about whether a thoughtful training system could help your bad team or a gazillion other things. We argue about the picture we can see. And we’re making determinations is what I see online. We never notice the training, the scheduling, or the clear handoff that makes someone better at serving a customer. All right, now I’m gonna tot I I cannot help myself, but have to bring Blockbuster into this. Blockbuster had heard of digital movies, its own filings, described DVDs by mail, kiosks, downloads, and something called Blockbuster on Demand. Blockbuster saw the shift and tried things. company was also carrying serious debt while the rental market changed underneath it. And in 2010, it flipped, it filed for bankruptcy. So the lesson’s more uncomfortable than they were too scared to try. Seeing the future wasn’t enough. Bolting a new future, a new feature onto the old way of operating, it didn’t change the math fast enough. So I just want you to ask yourself: like, what part of your business are you protecting? Because it’s always worked.

And you feel you’ve been programmed that if I do AI, I’m gonna lose my authenticity or I’m gonna lose my personality. It’s not right. If you do it wrong, yeah, that’ll happen. But if you do it right, it’ll amplify your authenticity. And then Blackberry, I mean, I say it all the time: BlackBerry was one of the most well-known phones in the business until it wasn’t. People trusted those phones. Then the smartphone market changed and competitors moved. Blackberry’s own 2012 filings talk about the pressure. From faster phones and the timing of its own launches. The phone business lost its spot. The company is still around today in secure communications and software that run inside other products. So Blackberry didn’t disappear, okay? But I do want you to think about you have you are the captain of the ship. You get to go through this AI wave, you get to surf this AI wave with your company. And I’m just wondering, how are you choosing to surf it? Are you just bobbing and trying to like, you know, keep your head above water? Or are you riding that wave, man? And like, woo-hoo, you know, and having fun with it. I really encourage you to, you know, think about where is AI, what place is AI playing in your business, in your life, and in your relationships? Because your business does affect your home life or your personal relationships. All right, so ask what the tool costs, okay? I think like the common ground, because this is what I started this off with. Like, what’s the common ground? Okay. So I think ask what the tool costs, including the cost that you never personally see. Tell people when something is synthetic and it matters that they know. Don’t ever try to pass off stuff as like, yeah, I did this. That’s just dishonest. And that’s definitely not ethical. And I would never like don’t ever do that. And I’ve always been open. Sometimes I even, when I when I do do my rambles on my Facebook page, I might put at the bottom, like, enjoy the typos. This was written directly by me. Or sometimes when I do pictures on my Facebook page, I’ll put something at the bottom of it, the my personal one. And I’ll say, like, Gemini prompt, and I’ll just paste my prompt in there. Okay. Customers and employees’ information gets protected. A human stays accountable for every decision about that person. And you measure whether the work got better.

With your own mind still in the process, then leave the room for someone to draw their line in a different place than yours without deciding they’re stupid or immoral. You might finish this episode still liking disliking AI or liking it even more. Okay? I’m good with both. Like no one’s behind. But you are a business owner if you’re listening to this, and you are gonna have to take a stand and make sure that your stand is is is founded under the right principles. I see this especially during hiring, like putting it out in the hiring ad because people are going to respond to you using AI. So let’s talk about what the ground rules are. With I’ll I’ll give you a freebie with my clients. I tell them to put something in their hiring ad that says, not only do we use AI because they do, and they use them for care notes. but and and we understand that you may respond using AI, but plea and and we’re all for that, but please use it responsibly. And that means Let your personality shine through and make sure that you can back it all up in the interview. Make sure it’s authentically you. Because if not, it will be a disqualification. All right. So what more? What what would you have to learn and what would you have to change for your opinion about AI to get more precise? I saw it in the mastermind, I mentioned this at the beginning of the show. How I had a client who was like, I was so afraid of AI. Anytime I hear anybody say afraid, it means that they don’t know the information. It’s no different than a kid being scared in the bed thinking there’s a boogie monster in the closet. And the minute you turn the light on, you realize it’s a coat rack. That’s exactly what fear is. And once you get enough education or information, you can’t be fearful anymore. Now you’re making educated decisions. And that’s what I want to inspire you to do, please. I want you to make educated decisions when it comes to AI. And don’t get caught up in all this hype and this let’s be separated and let’s be yes or no, or yes AI, no AI, blue, red, like you can have multiple opinions about the same topic. I give you permission. And I remind you, I remind you that you are a complex human.

And it’s up to you to figure out where things make sense for you, your family, your business. But just saying no, based off of a generative AI post and not understanding the agentic side of it, I have a, boy, I’m gonna say it. I have a rhetorical question for anyone out there who might be listening. I I I I believe that 99% of you guys listening. Like AI, because if you didn’t, you probably would have stopped listening a long time ago because I’m all in with AI. But you know, the people that say that they don’t like AI, they don’t want to use it, it’s the end of the earth. Like, I absolutely refuse it. I just wonder, and I don’t wish this on anybody, but I just wonder if AI was able to solve a chronic or cancer, chronic disease or cancer in someone they loved, would they change their tune? I’m I’m just wondering. Because everything is a polarity. Everything has a yin to a yang. Everything has every every light has a shadow. And I just want us to keep that in mind. Because that perception, that perception twist in our brain is what’s going to catapult you as a business owner. All right? None of this is easy. And that’s why I’m here. That’s why I’m dedicated to being a light. And a strainer to help guide you guys in little drips. Just this is what you need for your business. I understand the inner workings of your business.
